Description

It’s been a while… Been working on my Masterpiece in drips and drabs this past year.  I’m working on
my first sick, insane 12 hour (12 midnight to 12 noon) water bottle mix.  If you know what I mean…  Anyone can
create a 12 hour mix but I’m looking for Sistine Chapel greatness.  Simultaneously, it’s been both the most
liberating and chaotic mix I’ve ever worked on.  Creating a universal mix of all the genres of music played
throughout the night.  A mix to penetrate your MIND, your BODY, your SOUL. The way we used to do New York City style,
years back in the time of the drug clubs.  Before Mayor Giuliani destroyed the best times I’ve ever had. 
I’ll save all I have to say when the mix is complete.  I digress…  As always…  This is about the
Male Latin Freestyle In Me.  This to me is probably the most underrated genre in the history of music and as always I
hope I bring justice to the music in my mixes.  You won’t find any of these tracks on any Billboard charts.  This
was a time, at its height, we were mixing Old School Electronica, Chicago and Acid House and of course Latin Freestyle
around the early/mid 1980s to the early 1990s.  If you like this mix, I’ll probably upload the Female Latin
Freestyle Mix next.   Listening to this mix reminds me of the invincible teen years.   When you were both scared and
brave at the same time. Times when you were just too stupid and arrogant to care if you lived or died.  At least with
me.  The pompous yet cool party kid I was.   The alcohol drinkin, cigarette smokin teen years.  I always laugh that I
probably broke more hearts and had my heart broken during all of my teen years than any other time of my life.  As it
should be, being young, naïve and not knowing what love is.  Still don’t know what love is… LOL  

We are all on the brink of changing the course of history and this silly rat race we were always programmed to live. 
The evolution, revolution has truly begun…   Life is not about the highest credit scores, building enough points
to get you into heaven, how shiny your shoes are or how big your TV is, or living just for you and your personal
self-preservation.  I believe I speak for the masses when I say all we really need is: to have meaningful purpose
everyday we wake up, feel safe when we wake up, have enough to eat each day and have a nice roof over our heads before
we sleep, to take care and love the people we love and consciously try to do the right thing each and day, to love and
be loved, make love not war, to teach and be taught, to have a sympathetic, empathetic, grateful heart, and  try to be
open minded to any and all possibilities.  Everything else is just icing on the cake. We are all one.  As cliché
as it always is, we are all in this together.  Life’s about the personal connections we make with one another and
try to leave life a better place then when we began it.  It’s about living together with the highest and deepest
respect and love for all that surrounds us.

A new consciousness is now being forced to take over in order that the totality of the human race can and will become a
better people, living in a society not self-serving.  And I hope and pray you are not one who continues compounding the
problems but join in the creation of necessary solutions…  Society is now systemically ridding itself of all the
political, spiritual, moral, civil, and fiscal garbage its body no longer accepts as right and true.   There I go again.
 The keyboard somehow always seems to take over…

Just a simple and grateful thank you to anyone and everyone who has spent the time to listen to any or all the mixes
I’ve uploaded thus far.  I started this journey through music to personally try to force myself to listen to all
unknown genres I never gave a chance to listen to and now I’m trying to get all music lovers to do the same. 
Fifteen mixes later I have listened to other types of music as much as time grants me and mixed music I personally would
never have tried but I have to say to say they have turned out pretty damn good.  Never mixed Tribal, Hip Hop,
Hippie/Trippie, etc.  I call myself “every day people” who just loves to get his music mix on every now and
then.   Forgive me for not liking to include a track list.  To me, a mix is like watching a movie.  There is a certain
degree of storytelling involved.  I’m a purist when watching a new movie or listening to a mix for that matter.  I
like going in watching or listening with no preconceived notions about it and form my own opinion after.  What fun is
there in listening to the mix if you know what tracks are in the mix.  You might as well just find and just listen to
the individual tracks.  Really surprised how many European and South American flags I’ve seen downloading the
mixes.  But a special thank you to all the Americans, Brazilians and Italians whose flags I’ve seen mostly. 
Slightly disappointed the Asian countries aren’t getting a bigger taste.  Surprised and not surprised the Tribal
Mix has been the most downloaded.  From a nonpartisan listen, it’s one of my more organic, even energy, flow
mixes.  I always wonder what makes a mix better than another.  Is it a certain track?  A certain individual mix?  Of
course I think it’s a little of both.  I always hope all my tracks and mixes are great from the very beginning of
the mix to the very end of the mix.  Personally, I’m more emotionally invested in the Autumn Leaves Mix which I
hope, shows.  I am a believer that the music will always find you, especially when you need it the most.  I hope my
mixes have brought a bit of joy to your lives.  I call myself an “Energy DJ.”  A positive energy and message
in my mixes.  No music to lull you to sleep.  If you’re not turning up the volume, up and dancing to any of the
tracks or certain mixes and saying or thinking that mix is nasty, then I’m not the energy DJ I think I am.  The
judgment is always yours.  I feel all my mixes have certain energy to them and hope this mix further explains that
energy.  I’ll upload all the rest of my mixes with a little more frequency.  To all my Freestyle Freaks, ENJOY!!! 
And if you’re not a freak, hope this mix makes you one!  To all my fellow Americans and to all listening around
the world, especially in these difficult and trying times; be strong, stay real and true to yourself and to others, but
most of all keep it on the straight and narrow!
